I’m painting my guitar with acrylic. What can i put over it to stop the paint chipping when i’m done?
Hi there.
I’m painting a guitar for my friend. I noticed yesterday that the paint scratches off so easily. When i am done what can i buy to cover it. I suggested varnish but he said that it will look streaky and not shiny.
Any ideas?
I work in an art store. i would get a spray varnish gloss finish Gumbacher is good and winsor newton, even krylon clear gloss finish will help. But to get rid of streaks and have gloss i would go with a spray finish.
